Orient Express Corinthian Begins Its Caribbean Adventure This October
The luxury sailing yacht Orient Express Corinthian is set to launch its Caribbean season starting in October 2025.
From October 12, this unique vessel will embark on a 14-night transatlantic journey from Lisbon to Barbados, emphasizing wellness as it greets the autumn under tropical skies.
The Orient Express Corinthian embodies comfort and elegance, combining exceptional service, unique itineraries, unforgettable adventures, and advanced technology for responsible navigation, redefining luxury cruising.
From October to March, the yacht will present voyages lasting between two to nine nights, navigating through turquoise lagoons, pristine sandy islands, clear bays, coral reefs, secluded coves, and hidden inlets.
Following routes from the chic shores of Saint-Barth to the untouched sands of Moskito Island, and from the majestic Exumas to the coral landscapes of the Tobago Cays, every destination tells a unique story.
Yet, the allure lies in the voyage itself, sailing with gentle trade winds as breathtaking tropical views gradually unfold. Each event is designed to surpass expectations, offering luminous discoveries, gastronomic experiences, and guided ventures into unspoiled natural havens.
This journey can be likened to a collection of moments oscillating between fantasy and reality.
A Journey for the Senses
Onboard, Orient Express Corinthian reinterprets French craftsmanship for modern maritime luxury, inspired by the brand’s illustrious history.
Architect Maxime d’Angeac, the Artistic Director of Orient Express, has crafted exquisite interiors that blend the nostalgia of train travel’s golden age with a contemporary touch, reflecting the grandeur of iconic ocean liners like Normandie, utilizing the skillful hands of renowned French artisans.
The yacht features 54 suites, varying from 485 to 2,476 square feet, each equipped with large picture windows or terraces and elevated ceilings that provide a rare sensation of space at sea.
With a collection of five restaurants and private dining options, Orient Express Corinthian elevates the dining craft at sea under the supervision of Yannick Alléno, a multi-Michelin-star chef, who also heads the culinary experiences on the L’Orient Express train and its sailing yachts.
Features also include a 115-seat cabaret, a modern recording studio, two swimming pools, and a marina, all culminating in a sumptuous atmosphere where each evening promises a fresh experience.
Bringing Timeless Experiences to the High Seas and Beyond
Since 1883, Orient Express has excelled in crafting the essence of travel with luxurious trains, singular experiences, and rare object collections. The brand has recently welcomed its first hotel, Orient Express La Minerva in Rome, with plans for Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovannelli in Venice by 2026.
The travel narrative continues with the introduction of the La Dolce Vita Orient Express train, soon followed by the Orient Express Corinthian in 2026—the first of its two sailing yachts—and the legendary Orient Express train’s return to railways.
As of 2022, Orient Express became a key member of the Accor Group, known for its luxurious brand heritage in hotels and dining sectors. In 2024, Accor and LVMH forged a strategic alliance aimed at accelerating the growth of Orient Express.
