Virtuoso Travel Tech Summit 2025 Set for August

Virtuoso announces the return of its annual Travel Tech Summit in August, aiming to enhance human connections through technology.

Global luxury and experiential travel network Virtuoso announced the return of its annual Travel Tech Summit this August.

Slated for 9th August as part of the 37th Virtuoso Travel Week, the fourth run of the Summit will be held at the Bellagio Resort & Casino and will focus on innovation within the luxury travel sector. The event aims to use smart technology to elevate and enhance human connection without replacing it. Due to high demand, Virtuoso has almost doubled the capacity of this year’s Tech Summit and anticipates 500 attendees.

Delving into ongoing evolution

The event will feature Gilad Berenstein, a tech entrepreneur and Virtuoso board member, who will discuss trends in travel technology and the development of Virtuoso’s tech ecosystem.

“One of the things that makes the Travel Tech Summit such a success… is that we continuously evolve the format and topics,” Berenstein said.

This year’s Tech Summit will empower advisors and partners to delve into developments available through Virtuoso and celebrate in-house innovation, ensuring attendees leave with actionable insights for their businesses.

What to expect at this year’s summit

The summit’s format will include presentations, panels, Q&A sessions, and roundtables, allowing for robust engagement.

Notable speakers from Virtuoso will include:

  • Betsy Grebinoski of Pique Travel and Fernanda Barrence of The Trip Boutique.
  • Dianna Rom from Windstar Cruises and Jared Shalhoub from AmaWaterways discussing the evolution of virtual tours.
  • Kate Sullivan of Anthology Travel and David Shull from Tern on luxury travel operational systems.
  • Vincent Shacks discussing conservation technology in Botswana.
  • Paul Kearney, the SVP of Technology, will discuss efforts to standardize tech for travel.

Kearney emphasized Virtuoso’s focus on creating systems that cater to each agency’s needs, and that this year aims to highlight in-house innovations.

Deep-seated discussions

Virtuoso’s Barbara Joseph will facilitate a panel discussing technology transitions among Virtuoso advisors, offering key takeaways for successful adaptation.

Distinguished outside speakers, such as Rafat Ali from Skift, will analyze pressing themes in travel technology.

Overall, the Tech Summit sees participation from startups eager to innovate within the industry.
