A Commitment to Conservation

CEO Thien Kwee Eng expressed enthusiasm about this attraction, stating:

“As we transform and elevate our island’s offerings, Singapore Oceanarium is a welcome addition to Sentosa’s suite of world-class attractions.”

The Oceanarium aims to educate visitors, showcasing biodiversity and conservation. Assistant Director Gloria Tan emphasized:

“It’s a place where visitors of all ages can learn more about life in the water. Knowing the creatures underwater could help prevent extinction of species; otherwise, the creatures we see today may only be museum displays tomorrow.”

Educational Focus

The Oceanarium consists of 22 sections, each detailing significant periods in the evolution of marine life or conservation efforts. With interactive displays and touchscreen technology, it engages guests through learning activities, making the experience enjoyable for all ages.
