Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality provider, has announced the opening of a new hotel in Pune under the Gateway brand. This greenfield endeavor will be integrated into a mixed-use development.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development at IHCL, noted, “Pune, a significant city in Maharashtra, hosts a diverse industrial and service sector, encompassing IT, pharmaceuticals, and auto manufacturing. Bibvewadi, a developing micro market, is experiencing rapid growth fueled by infrastructure upgrades and its close proximity to educational and residential areas. This signing is part of our strategy to increase IHCL’s presence in fast-growing urban regions.”

The 180-key Gateway Bibvewadi Pune, Maharashtra is ideally situated near the city center. The hotel will provide an inclusive culinary experience through an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, and a specialty restaurant. Guests can enjoy top-notch facilities, including a modern gym and a swimming pool. The hotel features approximately 4,000 sq. ft. of banquet space and additional meeting rooms, making it suitable for both business and social events.
