
Emirates Launches Upgraded Boeing 777 Service to Madrid
Starting September 16, Emirates will operate its refreshed Boeing 777 aircraft to Madrid, enhancing the travel experience with revamped interiors and a Premium Economy cabin.
Emirates, the largest international airline worldwide, has announced that it will start utilizing its newly retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft for flights to and from Madrid beginning September 16. Passengers can anticipate a superior travel experience with revitalized interiors and enhanced travel features throughout all classes. Madrid will be the first city in Spain to benefit from this next-generation cabin design.
The newly refurbished four-class Boeing 777 will operate flights as EK143 and EK144. Flight EK143 is scheduled to leave Dubai at 14:30 and reach Madrid by 20:20 local time, while the return service, EK144, will depart Madrid at 22:05 and arrive in Dubai at 7:10 the next day.
The introduction of Emirates’ modernized Boeing 777 flight service signifies a new chapter of premium travel to the Spanish capital, featuring the airline’s acclaimed Premium Economy service, a newly redesigned Business Class cabin, and overall improved travel comfort.
Enhanced Travel Experience
Emirates’ latest Boeing 777 cabin interiors are designed to impress, showcasing modern aesthetics and distinct cabin elements, including:
- A reimagined First-Class cabin with luxurious updates.
- A new Business Class that emphasizes privacy and comfort, offering fully flat beds arranged in a 1-2-1 seating layout.
- Premium Economy seats offering accessible luxury with cream leather upholstery, increased leg space, adjustable headrests, enhanced recline options, and cushioned leg rests.
- Roomy Economy Class seats with updated design features.
Commitment to Elevating Travel Experiences
Emirates is committed to enhancing overall passenger comfort through its ambitious multibillion-dollar retrofit initiative—one of the largest in aviation’s history. So far, 61 aircraft have been updated, including 31 A380 aircraft and 30 Boeing 777s, with plans to enhance over 220 aircraft with the latest cabin innovations.
Passengers flying with Emirates will also enjoy a selection of regionally inspired gourmet meals, premium beverages, and the award-winning inflight entertainment system, ice, with access to over 6,500 channels including more than 260 channels featuring Spanish content.
