The Singapore MICE Forum kicked off with a dynamic opening reception at the new Singapore Oceanarium in Resorts World Sentosa on the evening of July 23. Sponsored by One World Rentals Singapore, which specializes in providing digital devices for events, the setting featured captivating marine life and a focus on current trends in the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector.

Interestingly, as the Oceanarium opens to the public on July 24, its event spaces have generated considerable interest among both academic institutions and high-end fashion brands.

Adeline Lim, the co-chair of this year’s forum, warmly welcomed guests and highlighted the session’s key insights for industry’s growth. Mike Day, regional manager for One World Rentals, discussed the forum’s theme, emphasizing the shift towards environmentally friendly practices and the integration of AI within the MICE industry.

The Singapore MICE Forum and the Singapore MICE Awards are both slated to take place later today at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands.
