Langham Pink Run Links Communities in Ten Cities for Global Charity Event
A commemorative event celebrating 160 years of Langham Hospitality Group, uniting participants for charitable purposes.
Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) recently held its first Langham Pink Run, a global initiative that fuses health, community engagement, and philanthropy. This event commemorated the 160th anniversary of The Langham Hotels and Resorts, gathering over 1,600 participants, all dressed in the signature pink of The Langham, to support eight charities focused on health, education, and environmental conservation.
“The Langham Pink Run was more than a tribute to our past – it was a reflection of who we are today,” said Bob van den Oord, CEO of Langham Hospitality Group. “We’re incredibly proud to have united people around causes that truly matter.”
From the scenic East Coast Boardwalk in Hong Kong to Sudirman Avenue in Jakarta, Clapham Common park in London, Central Park in New York, and the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne, the event took place across ten prominent cities where The Langham has a presence.
Participants, including hotel guests, staff, and community members, received custom-designed pink jerseys, medals, and the chance to earn reward points in LHG’s loyalty program.
