ikhlas.com Facilitates Umrah Pilgrimage for 1,000 Underprivileged Malaysian Muslims
Underprivileged individuals achieve their dream of performing Umrah through the 1,000 Asnaf initiative organized by ikhlas.com.
Ikhlas Com Travel & Umrah Sdn Bhd (ikhlas.com) has recently transformed the aspirations of underprivileged individuals (asnaf) aiming to complete Umrah, a significant pilgrimage to Mecca, into a dream come true.
The organization initiated the departure of its first group of specially selected pilgrims under the “Umrah 1,000 Asnaf” program from Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (klia2).
This inaugural group consists of 15 carefully chosen asnaf individuals, selected from a pool of thousands via a rigorous screening process. Each recipient is fully sponsored; ikhlas.com covers all expenses, including passport fees, vaccinations, visas, return AirAsia flights, and a comprehensive, full-board umrah package.
According to Ikhlas Kamarudin, the CEO of ikhlas.com: “We are in the process of organizing travel schedules for an additional 200 asnaf pilgrims, with a target of ultimately facilitating 1,000 individuals to achieve their longstanding dream of performing Umrah by the end of the 1447H Umrah season next year.”
Kamarudin also encouraged corporations interested in supporting the Umrah 1,000 Asnaf initiative to reach out. He remarked, “Let’s collaborate to assist more members of the asnaf community in reaching the Holy Land during the upcoming Umrah season, inshaAllah.”
This initiative was launched to celebrate ikhlas.com’s fifth anniversary, aiming to empower local communities by identifying qualified asnaf individuals and realizing their dreams of performing Umrah. Moreover, it reflects the company’s broader commitment to ensuring that all Muslims, particularly those with limited means, can undertake this sacred journey at least once in their lifetimes.
