TEG Sport and CityLab HK Unite for the Inaugural Hong Kong Football Festival

TEG Sport and CityLab HK distribute over 11,000 free tickets to local youth associations as part of their community initiatives surrounding the upcoming Hong Kong Football Festival.

As anticipation builds for the inaugural Hong Kong Football Festival (HKFF), TEG Sport has joined with local non-profit CityLab HK to ensure that community engagement remains at the forefront of this momentous occasion.

TEG Sport and CityLab HK have recently given out over 11,000 free tickets for Open Training sessions to youth-centered community groups and underserved demographics throughout the region.

Furthermore, several young attendees will have the chance to gather insights on teamwork and responsibility, participating in roles such as displaying center circle banners during matches.

These programs highlight HKFF’s dedication to extending the allure of football beyond the stadium and into Hong Kong’s vibrant neighborhoods.

The outreach efforts include collaboration with the Hong Kong, China Sports Association of the Deaf and hosting members of the Hong Kong China Deaf Football Team, who recently represented the area at the 2025 National Games for Persons with Disabilities.

According to Rachael Carroll, managing director of TEG Sport:

“HKFF 2025 is a compelling example of what happens when purpose-driven partnerships unite to create something truly remarkable. We believe in the power of live experiences to enhance lives. Events like this unite people, inspire communities, and forge unforgettable memories, especially in a city that loves football as much as Hong Kong. Collaborating with our sponsors and partners, such as CityLab HK, we aim to ensure that the impact of HKFF reaches far beyond the matches and into the soul of the community.”

Making a significant difference: CityLab HK, founded in 2019, is dedicated to empowering youth with skills and confidence. The organization leverages the OECD’s Learning Compass 2030 to advance transformative education and well-being through innovative, practical programs in schools and communities.

As general secretary Mabel Tsoi remarked:

“Our goal is to establish a platform where youth can identify purpose, face challenges, and mold their futures with bravery and empathy. The chance for thousands of students and families to see these international football stars train for the Hong Kong Football Festival will undoubtedly reinforce the values of teamwork, resilience, and aspiration, motivating these young individuals to pursue their dreams, whatever they may be.”

With match tickets for the first-ever international club games at Kai Tak Stadium already sold out, Open Training tickets offer the only remaining opportunity to witness these iconic football figures live.

Liverpool FC, Arsenal, and Spurs will hold their Open Training sessions at Kai Tak Stadium, while AC Milan’s session is set for Hong Kong Stadium.

Starting at just $99, Open Training tickets are accessible on Cityline, granting fans a unique chance to observe their football heroes in action.

The Hong Kong Football Festival 2025 stands as a pivotal milestone for both sports and local community development, guaranteeing thrilling football while fostering enduring social value for youth, educators, families, and athletes.
