The cargo division of SriLankan Airlines has successfully achieved the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) certification for its cargo ground operations at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).

This recognition reaffirms the airline’s dedication to quality in all cargo operations. Awarded by the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI), the certification signifies that SriLankan Cargo’s operations—from terminal services to import and export handling—adhere to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Chaminda Perera, the Head of Cargo at SriLankan Airlines, proudly stated: “Achieving ISO 9001:2015 is a testament to our dedication to maintaining world-class standards in cargo ground handling. It reflects the tireless efforts of our teams and our commitment to deliver efficient, customer-focused services.”
