Introduction
Blenheim Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has launched a new extended tour, showcasing unique elements of its history. This tour includes access to five previously private rooms.
Tour Highlights
The visitor experience has been designed to guide guests through historic rooms, revealing treasures, and the lifestyles of past dukes and duchesses.
New Rooms Included in the Tour:
- Duke’s Bar
- Family Dining Room
- The Smoking Room
- Duchess’s Sitting Room
- The Grand Cabinet
The Grand Cabinet is significant for its wealth of artifacts accumulated over generations, including a notable portrait of Caroline, the 4th Duchess, and a rare French carpet.
Unique Artifacts and Collections:
- Smoking Room corridor
- Lalique fire screen
- Portrait of the 9th Duke of Marlborough by Alfred Munnings
- Dining Room
- Engaging architectural designs and timepieces

This new tour extends the visitor experience by an additional 20 minutes, allowing for deeper engagement with the palace’s history.

There is a Rooftop View platform offering expansive views of the estate and the surrounding countryside, along with immersive experiences including the Life Below Stairs presentation.
