Air New Zealand Supports Dreams with Launch of Dream Seats Initiative

Air New Zealand introduces Dream Seats, a program aimed at empowering Kiwis to pursue their aspirations by offering flights and mentorship.

Air New Zealand supports the passion, drive, and ambition of New Zealanders with the launch of Dream Seats, a nationwide search designed to help Kiwi take the next step toward their dream.

Launched on Tuesday, 8th July, Dream Seats commits to giving over 100 New Zealanders the opportunity to move closer to achieving their dreams, providing them flights to support their journey.

Within Aotearoa or around the world, Air New Zealand aims to make big ambitions a reality.

Beyond Dreams
Airline CEO Greg Foran highlights that dreaming big is part of Kiwi DNA, and the airline aims to assist in realizing these dreams. He remarked, “Whether it’s sport, business, science, or the arts, Aotearoa is full of remarkable people doing incredible things. This campaign is part of our commitment to promote Kiwi success, locally and globally.”

Who’s Who
To aid in bringing these dreams to life, high-profile Kiwis joined the search:

  • Ryan Fox, NZ golfing legend and two-time PGA Tour winner
  • Dame Valerie Adams, two-time Olympic gold medallist
  • Shaun Johnson, professional rugby league player and podcast host
  • Josh Emett, chef and entrepreneur
  • Simran Kaur, financial educator and podcast host
  • Tom Sainsbury, comedian and writer

Each ambassador will award two Dream Seats to standout applicants and provide mentorship to help support their journey. Additionally, NBA star Steven Adams supports the initiative, inspiring Kiwis to dream big.

Foran emphasized, “This isn’t about granting wishes. It’s about lending support to New Zealanders already putting in the effort to take their next step.” Air New Zealand encourages Kiwis from Cape Rēinga to Bluff to apply, as every great journey begins with a single step.
