A Unique Collaboration

China Eastern Airlines has partnered with the contemporary toy company, POP MART, to unveil a unique DIMOO-themed aircraft design, celebrating five decades of diplomatic relationships between the People’s Republic of China and the Kingdom of Thailand. The aircraft was officially presented on July 4, 2025, and is set to operate routes linking major cities in China with Bangkok.

Notable attendees at the launch event included Piyapak Sricharoen, who serves as the Director-General at the Department of East Asian Affairs within the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Chang Yumeng, the Minister-Counselor from the Chinese Embassy in Thailand.

The launch ceremony also featured an exciting animated presentation of the aircraft’s design, bringing the DIMOO character into the spotlight.
