AirAsia Backs Rizal Redzuan at LIV Golf Korea Pro-Am Tournament
Rizal Redzuan achieves fifth place in LIV Golf Korea Pro-Am while being supported by AirAsia.
AirAsia has shown its support for Rizal Redzuan, a valued employee, during the LIV Golf Korea Pro-Am tournament held at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club. Redzuan secured a commendable fifth-place finish at the event, where he competed alongside notable golfers such as Ripper GC captain Cameron Smith and Marc Leishman.
This initiative underscores the recent collaboration between AirAsia and Ripper GC, part of the LIV Golf League, aiming to inspire aspiring athletes and dreamers.
In his own words, Redzuan expressed gratitude for being part of AirAsia’s Dare To Dream initiative, which champions individuals in pursuit of their dreams. His journey began at 3½ years old at Kelab Golf Negara Subang, continuously shaped by invaluable experiences through AirAsia’s support.
Interestingly, at 7½, he made his mark in international golf during the 2002 Sarawak Junior World Masters, earning the title of ‘Most Talented Young Junior Golfer.’ After moving to Australia for education and initial PGA aspirations, he shifted gears toward a professional career in Public Relations. Joining AirAsia in 2019 allowed him to reconnect with his golfing ambitions through the partnership with Ripper GC, crafting engaging content for the golfing community and fans.
The recent pro-am experience was more than just a momentary venture; it was a powerful reminder of the supportive network surrounding him, enabling him to merge his past dreams with a fulfilling current role within AirAsia.
