Archipelago Hotels Empower Local MSMEs Across Indonesia

Archipelago Group is fortifying local economies by partnering with MSMEs through its hotels, offering unique local products and experiences.

Indonesian hotel operator Archipelago is playing a significant role in bolstering the national economy by collaborating with local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through a network of 29 hotels.

These MSMEs provide guests with a range of local products, featuring regional snacks that showcase authentic flavors, traditional textiles such as batik and indigenous weaving, upcycled items that enhance sustainability, and high-quality locally-produced leather goods.

Archipelago’s chief executive, John Flood, remarked on the initiative:

“This collaboration reflects our commitment to making hotels more than just a place to stay: they serve as a bridge between guests and local culture, as well as a way to support MSMEs in each region.”
