CT Connections Highlights New Opportunities with Qantas NDC
CT Connections, Australia's largest travel management firm, announces first-mover advantage for clients accessing Qantas' Premium NDC content.
As Qantas launches its New Distribution Capability (NDC) platform on July 1st, CT Connections, Australia’s largest privately owned travel management firm, informs its clients of their immediate access to Premium NDC content.
Clients will enjoy increased discounts, special seat offers, status benefits, and companion fares from the offset due to CT Connections being the first to leverage Qantas’ Premium NDC content from its launch.
With the Premium NDC, clients can save about 8% on domestic fares in addition to their existing airline corporate arrangements, while gaining better visibility on Qantas Points, Status Credits, and exclusive offers for Qantas Business Reward members.
This new setup also enables avoidance of the previous EDIFACT surcharges of $11.50 per sector when purchasing premium NDC content.
Benefits from the very beginning
According to Andre Moten, Chief Commercial Officer at Connections Travel Group:
“While other providers may offer standard NDC access, CT Connections is ready to deliver the full experience through the Qantas Premium NDC channel, ensuring our clients benefit from every innovation as it rolls out.”
Moten pointed out that market discussions reveal that some providers are hesitant about adopting the new technology, focusing on worst-case scenarios instead of real-world results.
“NDC isn’t theoretical. It’s already in play across the industry, and Qantas is simply the next major carrier to make the leap. While others stagger their rollouts, we’ve invested, trained, and gone live. Our clients value continuity and clarity, and our approach ensures they receive both.”
CT Connections stands as a leader in travel management and was the first Australian TMC to successfully book Qantas NDC content using Zeno by Serko.
Moten elaborated that leading technological change contributed significantly to Connections Travel Group becoming the largest privately owned travel company in Australia. As they celebrate their 25th anniversary, the company embraces a philosophy inspired by the African concept of Ubuntu, which signifies: “I am because of you.”
Moten explained that this philosophy encompasses the ability to lead change rather than merely reacting to it.
“At Connections Travel Group, we pride ourselves on being future-focused and are pleased that CT Connections leads in corporate travel through the integration of Qantas NDC. We’re prepared to provide our clients with the best value options, including a comprehensive selection from Qantas’ airfare inventory.”
