On June 27, StarCruises celebrated the debut of the Star Voyager in Hong Kong, marking the start of a bustling 2025 cruise season from this top cruise destination.
From June 27 to November 14, the Star Voyager will provide 45 roundtrip cruises departing from Ocean Terminal, located in Tsim Sha Tsui. The terminal is well-connected to Hong Kong’s largest shopping mall and multiple tourist sites, allowing for a seamless boarding experience for both locals and visitors.
To honour this occasion, Hong Kong’s deputy tourism commissioner Joanne Chu and Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises, participated in a welcoming ceremony. Goh expressed excitement over the ship’s arrival and highlighted its recent US$50 million refurbishment, which has introduced new amenities and various itinerary options. He stated, “We’re thrilled to celebrate the arrival of Star Voyager in Hong Kong.”
Chu also noted that the newly launched itineraries will include Hong Kong and Sanya, benefiting from a new policy allowing Mainland visitors to transit permit-free to join international cruises.
Dane Cheng, executive director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, praised the ship’s addition, pointing out the significant prospects it brings for local cruise tourism.
Onboard, guests will experience luxurious accommodations, extensive leisure facilities, and a plethora of dining options. From water sports to live entertainment, the Star Voyager promises an unforgettable journey for travelers of all ages.
