
With the goal of enhancing cooperation among tourism entities, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board successfully hosted a roadshow at the Hotel Taj Mahal in Lucknow on June 25. This event was planned in light of upcoming initiatives such as the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart.
Acclaimed Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla was the chief guest, joined by Shri Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, Minister of State for Culture and Tourism, and Jaiveer Singh, Uttar Pradesh’s Minister of Tourism. Noting the significance of the event, an MoU was signed to foster tourism collaborations between Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh focused on various tourism circuits.
In discussing the robust development of Madhya Pradesh, Rajendra Shukla emphasized that as regions experience industrial, green, and tourism revolutions, they witness accelerated growth and job creation. He mentioned ongoing initiatives led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to enhance tourism infrastructure and promote local culture.
Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi pointed out that tourism serves as a backbone for society’s economic advancement and invited participation in the flourishing tourism sector of Madhya Pradesh.
In regard to tourism synergy, Jaiveer Singh remarked on the cultural connections between both states, underscoring the fulfillment tourists will experience traveling from Maa Ganga to Maa Narmada.
