United Airlines has announced the launch of exciting new features in its mobile app aimed at enhancing the travel experience for its customers, particularly those with connecting flights at U.S. hub airports.

- Turn-by-Turn Directions: Personalized navigation to your gate with estimated walking times.
- Real-time Updates: Receive live updates about your flight status.
- ConnectionSaver Alerts: Get notifications if United can hold your flight during tight connections.
These new functionalities leverage the airline’s existing ConnectionSaver technology, which has already helped over 3.3 million customers since its introduction in 2019. During a recent spring beta test, over 350,000 customers utilized these features with a remarkable 98% success rate in making their connections.

As summer approaches, the new app capabilities have been designed to cater to over 20 million United customers who have already booked connecting flights. The enhancements aim to offer personalized support based on the specific needs of travelers, whether they are enjoying a comfortable layover or racing against the clock.
