KlasJet, a premier private jet charter service and part of the world’s largest ACMI provider, Avia Solutions Group, has recently become a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This new membership signifies that KlasJet adheres to rigorous global standards concerning safety, quality, and operational management. This move consolidates KlasJet’s status among elite private airlines, bolstering its reputation with regulators, partners, and clients alike.
To gain IATA membership, KlasJet successfully passed the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), assessing various aspects of its operations, including flight operations, maintenance protocols, passenger management, risk management, and more.
“Joining IATA is a significant milestone for our airline,” expresses Indre Liveikyte, Compliance Monitoring Manager at KlasJet. “It is a quality and safety mark recognized by airports, regulatory institutions, and business partners worldwide. This membership demonstrates that KlasJet is not only a safe and reliable company, but also an innovative, world-class player ready to operate in a competitive, strictly regulated environment.”
KlasJet embraces a continuously evolving management model that includes regular audits, mandatory training, and systematic reviews of operational processes, integrating all aspects of its service.
Liveikyte asserts that compliance with IATA standards is an ongoing endeavor rather than a one-off event:
“Our Compliance and Safety departments actively collaborate with other divisions to ensure that safety is integrated into every operational decision, not just treated as a formal procedure. We have already set a date for the IOSA registration renewal audit, as well as for internal audits to verify consistent compliance. We strive to implement compliance daily through control, training, and clear accountability.”
As a formal IATA member, KlasJet intends to leverage important IATA resources and tools that enhance its operational efficiency and capabilities, including employee training and data analytics.
“Operating as both an ACMI carrier and VIP charter operator means our teams must seamlessly navigate two very different operational worlds,” Liveikyte adds, recognizing the commitment of KlasJet’s team in achieving this milestone. “Our employees demonstrate great commitment to excellence, shared pursuit of our common goals, and strong focus on safety and professionalism. IATA membership acknowledges not only our operational achievements but the remarkable efforts of every team member who has elevated KlasJet to this new level of international recognition and reliability.”
