The China Crown Group has made a bold move in the Costa del Sol’s culinary scene with the launch of its new restaurant, China Crown Marbella, located in the iconic Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá. The opening event held yesterday brought together over 100 guests who enjoyed an exclusive cocktail evening featuring imperial Chinese cuisine.

The restaurant’s menu is a tribute to 4,000 years of culinary history from China, meticulously crafted by brothers María and Felipe Bao. Highlight dishes include the iconic Imperial Beijing Duck, along with a diverse offering that features meats, seafood, rice dishes, and a selection of cocktails inspired by China’s ancestral flavors. This concept, which has gained notable acclaim in Madrid since its inception in 1981, now presents itself in Marbella, merging tradition and modernity in its gastronomic proposal.

Dining at China Crown Marbella is a sensory journey that honors the richness of imperial cuisine, with each dish designed to evoke emotions and tell stories, using high-quality ingredients and refined techniques. Featured dishes include Crispy Lobster with Mango and Passionfruit, alongside a selection of Dim Sum that introduces innovations such as Xiao Long Bao with beef cheek and Ha Kao with prawn.

Spanning a total area of 212 m², the restaurant offers a sophisticated atmosphere designed by Marisa Gallo’s interior design studio. Accommodating 62 guests indoors and 47 on its terrace, China Crown Marbella maintains the understated elegance that characterizes the brand, with strategically arranged furniture and lighting that enhances the sensory experience.
