American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) launches its inaugural brand campaign aimed at transforming perceptions of business travel.
American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) is stepping up with the launch of its first brand campaign, ‘Great Ideas Travel.’ This initiative aims to reshape how travelers and business leaders regard corporate travel.
Campaign Overview
Great Ideas Travel celebrates the innovative power of business travel. It emphasizes the significance of real-life interactions, where ideas ignite, relationships flourish, and opportunities arise that would be impossible via digital means. The campaign also introduces a fresh global brand identity for Amex GBT, reinforcing its mission to drive business and ideas ahead.
Amex GBT serves 20,000 clients across 180 countries, providing support to a broad spectrum of industries—from finance to sports. On a daily average, the company orchestrates enough flight bookings to fill over 500 Boeing 777s and secures 194,000 hotel rooms each week.
Alisa Copeman, the CMO at Amex GBT, stated: “Great Ideas Travel is a new way of telling the Amex GBT story. Partnering with our talented creative team, we showcase the value of business travel and the dynamic energy that arises from bringing people together.”
This campaign emerges at a pivotal time for global businesses navigating uncertainty, rallying the travel sector around the irreplaceable moments created through face-to-face connections.
Amex GBT collaborated with Droga5 London as key strategic partners for this campaign. Bill Scott, CEO of Droga5 London, expressed pride in the partnership, highlighting the narrative they’ve built together: “‘Great Ideas Travel’ brings a much-needed human touch to the travel industry, reminding us of the unmatched benefits of in-person collaboration.”
Expect to see the new global campaign on various platforms, including television, social media, and outdoor channels, to support Amex GBT’s events and engage its community of over 18,000 employees.
