Transaction Network Services (TNS) has inaugurated a new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, marking a significant investment in the APAC region and reaffirming its commitment to support both local and global clientele.
The new office serves as a pivotal point in TNS’s global growth, facilitating expanded services under its Complete Commerce initiative, which empowers businesses to process any transaction at terminals and online, while connecting POS systems and retail environments through managed network solutions and orchestrating payment transactions via a cloud-focused platform.
Situated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s City Center (KLCC), TNS celebrated this milestone on June 11th with numerous customers and employees attending the grand opening. This event was hosted by John Tait, the Global Managing Director for TNS Payments Market, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a tour of the cutting-edge Network Operations Center (NOC).
“We were thrilled to have so many customers join us for the grand opening of our new major hub for the APAC region. Over the past 12 years, TNS has consistently achieved remarkable growth in Malaysia and beyond, a testament to our expanding workforce and our ever-evolving suite of services. As we look ahead, we are excited about our future opportunities and confident that our Malaysian hub will be instrumental in driving our continued success and growth in the region,” said Ganesh Satkunalingam, TNS’ Vice President for Southeast Asia.
As the digital payments landscape continues to evolve, TNS is enhancing infrastructure to better cater to its customers. The Kuala Lumpur office will initially accommodate over 50 employees across various sectors, including Sales, Engineering, and Finance, with plans for further growth. This location features a dedicated 24/7 Network Operations Center, ensuring continuous global service delivery.
Since its establishment in Malaysia in 2013, TNS has seen impressive growth, expanding its service offerings to cater to acquirers, financial institutions, and retailers throughout the region. The transition to a more centralized facility reflects TNS’s commitment to long-term investment in the region.
“By investing in our Operations and Shared Services Center in Malaysia, TNS strengthens its support framework for clients both in the country and throughout the region. We aim to instill confidence in our customers that we are readily available in the market. With a longstanding presence in this area, we are pleased to confirm that Malaysia will be integral to our global strategy, complete with a 24/7 Network Operations Center,” stated John Tait.
