Amari Colombo was recently recognized at the Asia Pacific Property and Hotel Awards 2025–2026. The hotel, in partnership with FBEYE International PTE LTD, achieved victory in the Hotel Interior category, celebrating exceptional design innovation.

This accolade reflects ONYX Hospitality Group’s ambition to stand as a leading medium-sized hospitality management company in Southeast Asia and underscores their dedication to creating remarkable guest experiences.

The Asia Pacific Property and Hotel Awards salute excellence in architecture, interior design, and real estate across the region. This award highlights the collaborative success between ONYX Hospitality Group and FBEYE International PTE LTD.

Hotel Manager Indika Jayawardena remarked, “We are incredibly honored to receive this recognition. The collaboration with FBEYE International has resulted in a truly breathtaking design that enhances our guests’ experience, and this award is a testament to that success.”

A Milestone in Hospitality Design

Strategically located in Colombo’s vibrant commercial district, Amari Colombo combines modern luxury with the cultural heritage of Sri Lanka.

The hotel’s interiors, conceived by award-winning design firm FBEYE International, draw inspiration from Sri Lanka’s identity as the “Gem Island,” embracing the nation’s rich history and stunning natural aesthetics. This vision is reflected in the elegant usage of gemstone hues throughout the hotel, from carpets to wall panels, ensuring a cohesive experience throughout!

Key highlights include the semi-circular reception on the sixth floor, leading to the ocean-facing Mira Lounge and the vintage-inspired Chancellor, where colonial stylishness meets modern sophistication. Each of Amari Colombo’s 167 spacious rooms and suites harmoniously blends contemporary comforts with traditional aesthetics, catering to both business and leisure travelers.
