Visa-Free Entry Now Available for Indian Tourists in the Philippines

Indian nationals can now visit the Philippines without a visa for a short stay, effective June 8.

On June 8, Indian tourists can now enter the Philippines without a visa for a period of 14 days. This new policy aims to boost tourist numbers from India.

Requirements for Entry

  • Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay.
  • Confirmed accommodation bookings.
  • Proof of adequate financial resources.
  • A return or onward ticket is mandatory.

Additionally, Indian nationals with valid visas from the US, Japan, Australia, Canada, Schengen countries, Singapore, or the UK can stay for up to 30 days without a visa for tourism purposes.

This updated policy can be availed upon entry at any Philippine port but cannot be converted into other visa types.

Things to Note

Indian nationals must not have any negative immigration history to gain this entry. Those who wish to stay longer or engage in non-tourism activities must obtain the correct visa beforehand.

For eligible Indian nationals, e-Visas can be applied for through the official Philippine e-Visa website, however, these also cannot be converted or extended.

This policy is set to enhance connections between the Philippines and India, fostering a greater exchange of culture and tourism.
