H World Group Launches Operations in Laos with Hotel Management Deals

The Chinese hospitality firm expands its presence in Southeast Asia through four new hotel agreements.

Chinese hospitality company H World Group Limited has made its inaugural entry into the Laotian market by finalizing four hotel management agreements. This expansion strengthens H World’s international growth strategy, particularly in Southeast Asia.

The agreements were signed on May 29 in Vientiane, marking the company’s strategic move to establish itself in the region.

“The signing of four hotels in Laos is an important step for H World in promoting localized management and building a deeply rooted network across the region. We are committed to strengthening our operational capabilities in Southeast Asia and delivering high-quality, full-lifecycle services to our partners. We are confident that these projects in Laos will become the highlights in H World’s development in the region,” said Zhu Xiaogang.

The four hotels will be located in Vientiane and the historic city of Luang Prabang, developed in partnership with:

  • Lao Kunpeng Industrial Co., Ltd.
  • Yuting Hotel Investment Management Co., Ltd.
  • KP Construction Sole Co., Ltd.

Details of the new developments include:

  1. Intercity Hotel Vientiane: Near Wattay International Airport, opening in early 2026.
  2. Intercity Hotel Luang Prabang: Located in the historic city center, expected to open in 2027.
  3. JI Hotel Vientiane Mekong Riverside: Set to open in early 2026, this is the first JI Hotel in Laos.
  4. Orange Hotel Vientiane International Airport: Near the airport, expected to open in Q3 2026, marking the brand’s debut outside China.

The investment partners express confidence that this collaboration will elevate hospitality standards in Laos and improve travel experiences for visitors.
