Qatar Airways, the Official Airline Partner of FIFA since May 2017, continues to expand its global football footprint by joining the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ as Official Airline Partner.
The airline finds itself in familiar grounds as it builds on its historical sponsorship achievements including the UEFA Champions League and being a sponsor for finalists Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain. Both teams will also participate in the FIFA Club World Cup™, where Qatar Airways aims to offer fans unique experiences and branding opportunities at the tournament.
Qatar Airways Group CEO Badr Mohammed Al-Meer stated: “The new agreement with FIFA underlines our commitment to bringing fans closer to the sport. Our role goes beyond branding, as we aspire to enhance the fan experience and connect them through our extensive global network of over 170 destinations, including 11 gateways in the U.S.”
FIFA President Gianni Infantino remarked: ‘We are thrilled to deepen our partnership with Qatar Airways as we embark on this exciting new chapter with the FIFA Club World Cup™. Their dedication to excellence and global connectivity align perfectly with our goals for this tournament, which aims to unite the world through club football.’
The FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ is set to take place across 12 venues in the United States, with the opening match occurring on June 14 in Miami, concluding with the final on July 13 in New Jersey.
Qatar Airways will serve as a key facilitator for fans traveling to see this extraordinary event, operating flights to 11 U.S. cities including major host cities.
In addition to their FIFA partnership, Qatar Airways actively engages in a range of high-profile sports partnerships including affiliations with UEFA, AFC, and various other sports and athletic organizations.
