
Iberia has launched Iberia GPT, a new conversational assistant powered by ChatGPT to assist customers in planning their travels in an inspirational, agile, and personalized manner. Now available in the GPT Store, it marks the first of its kind by an airline. The announcement was made during the South Summit 2025, a key event for innovation and entrepreneurship in Europe.

in Explore GPTs. It emphasizes Iberia’s exploration of innovative digital communication channels, building on its earlier success with WhatsApp customer service in 2019.
Iberia GPT acts as a creative space for travelers seeking inspiration or needing guidance on matter that fits their interests, preferences, or budgets. Key features include flexible flight searches with five-day margins around selected dates, destination suggestions tailored to traveler interests, and budget-based recommendations to help find the best options within a given financial limit.
