DCT and Rotana Launch Summer Promotional Campaign
A new initiative by DCT Abu Dhabi and Rotana to enhance summer tourism and promote year-round travel to Abu Dhabi.
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Rotana, a leading hospitality company in the Middle East, have launched a joint initiative to boost tourism during the summer months in the emirate. This campaign is aimed at overcoming the usual seasonal travel dips and enhancing Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a vibrant year-round destination. Thanks to Rotana’s broad regional appeal and extensive loyalty network, the collaboration seeks to increase bookings from various markets, particularly within the GCC region.
Summer Campaign: Stay More, Pay Less
From June to August, guests who book at Rotana hotels in Abu Dhabi will benefit from an exclusive offer: ‘Stay 3, Pay 2’—meaning that for every three consecutive nights booked, guests receive one night free. For extended stays, this offer continues (e.g., stay six nights, pay for four).
Additional promotions include:
- Complimentary stays and meals for children in all room types.
- Free extra beds for kids, making it a perfect choice for families.
- Access to curated leisure activities at select Rotana properties in Abu Dhabi.
Driving Summer Tourism Through Strategic Synergy
This campaign represents a crucial step in the DCT-Rotana partnership, intended to stimulate travel during typically slow summer months and promote Abu Dhabi as a family-friendly destination while encouraging direct bookings with exclusive incentives.
Eddy Tannous, the COO of Rotana, commented: “As a homegrown brand deeply rooted in the region, we are proud to partner with DCT Abu Dhabi on a campaign that supports the broader vision of positioning Abu Dhabi as a year-round destination. Through this initiative, we are combining strengths to deliver both economic impact and exceptional guest value, reaffirming our commitment to driving tourism growth in the emirate.”
A Partnership Shaping the Future of Travel
Part of DCT Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030, this partnership with Rotana emphasizes the emirate’s dedication to sustained collaborative growth. It exemplifies a series of recent alliances aimed at elevating Abu Dhabi’s global profile and increasing visitor numbers, providing seamless, tailored experiences across both international and regional markets.
