Vietjet’s new direct international route connecting Singapore and Phu Quoc officially commenced operations on Friday, May 30th.

The introduction of this service marks Vietjet’s ongoing growth strategy in Southeast Asia, significantly improving connectivity and providing Singaporeans with easy access to Phu Quoc’s famous beaches.

The airline now offers four return flights per week from Singapore’s Changi Airport to Phu Quoc on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This new schedule greatly simplifies travel for Singaporeans wanting to visit Vietnam’s beautiful island.

Flight Schedule:

  • Departure from Singapore: 13:05
  • Arrival in Phu Quoc: 13:45
  • Return from Phu Quoc: 15:45
  • Arrival in Singapore: 18:30

Upon arriving in Phu Quoc in the early afternoon, travellers have ample time to settle into their accommodations or venture out to explore the island’s attractions.

Expansion of Routes

This new route contributes to a total of 78 weekly flights between Singapore and Vietnam and marks Vietjet’s fourth direct service to Singapore, alongside its existing flights from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang. From these hubs, passengers can easily access other popular Vietnamese destinations such as Hue, Nha Trang, and Quang Binh, as well as onward travels throughout the Asia-Pacific.

To promote the launch, Vietjet is presenting special Friday offers, with one-way fares starting at just SGD 86 for all Singapore-Vietnam routes, available for booking through December 31st.
