Dubai Autodrome Set for Exciting 2025/26 Motorsport Season Following Landmark Campaign

The new motorsport season at Dubai Autodrome is gearing up to be one of the busiest in its history. According to Faisal Al Sahlawi, General Manager, recent seasons have been marked by a remarkable milestone campaign, achieving record attendance at the 24H Dubai during its 20th-anniversary celebrations.

Dubai Autodrome, part of Union Properties, concluded its recent season after organizing over 15 racing events within the past six months. Notable competitions included the highly anticipated 24H Dubai, featuring more than 70 teams, the largest GT3 events, and other prestigious championships.

During this period, the venue also hosted over 80 motorcycle and car track days, alongside 20 local roll racing events.

The upcoming season, starting in October, will further solidify its status as a top destination for motorsport and entertainment in the UAE. Al Sahlawi expressed, “We are thrilled with the excitement of this recent motorsport season, particularly with the major 20-year celebrations at Dubai Autodrome. Notably, there was a thrilling atmosphere and a noticeable increase in spectators, with over 30,000 people attending the 24H Dubai event. It is clear that motorsport continues to thrive in the UAE.”

Moreover, this year’s planning includes the return of the Gulf Historic, showcasing vintage racing cars, four international races, and a growing number of regional competitions. Al Sahlawi added, “Last season attracted approximately 55,000 participants, benefiting airlines, hotels, and local hospitality-related services, significantly aiding the broader UAE economy.”
