Gathering over 3,000 travel leaders and partners from across the globe, the conference showcased the company’s strategy to reshape global tourism through innovation and sustainable growth.

As the industry celebrates a full recovery in international travel and anticipates further growth, new trends and technologies offer exciting possibilities to enhance experiences and promote inclusive development.

James Liang, Co-founder and Chairman of Trip.com Group, emphasized the significant role of innovation in advancing the travel industry in his keynote address. He highlighted how innovative solutions are driving efficiency and enhancing user experiences while also empowering local communities.

To support this vision, Mr. Liang announced the launch of a USD 100 million Tourism Innovation Fund, designed to assist destinations, organizations, and individuals in turning visionary ideas into reality.

This potential comes with a shared responsibility, noted Jane Sun, CEO of Trip.com Group, during her keynote speech. She reinforced the company’s robust momentum entering 2025, backed by strong global partnerships and continuous innovations. Trip.com Group has seen its international business thrive significantly, with outbound bookings exceeding pre-pandemic levels by 120%.

The organization highlights its strengths, particularly in customer service and social impact, striving for a global service satisfaction rate nearing 90%. The company’s Global Travel SOS Service also guarantees responses to tourist emergencies within two minutes.

Innovation Awards and Future Prospects

Continuing momentum, Trip.com Group introduced the Tourism Innovation Fund, aimed at catalyzing breakthroughs in travel. This initiative prioritizes large-scale innovative projects and supports exceptional contributions in areas like sustainability and technology.
