Record Growth for CLIA Membership
The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) UK & Ireland made some significant announcements at their annual conference held in Southampton, attended by over 850 trade delegates. Andy Harmer, the Managing Director, highlighted:
- A 10% increase in CLIA membership since May 2024, now totaling nearly 4,300 agencies and 10,000 individuals utilizing CLIA’s resources and training.
- Expansion of online virtual ship tours with 12 new vessels added this year.
- Announcement of a complimentary ‘New to Selling Cruise Virtual Day’ scheduled for July 3, aimed at newcomers to cruise selling.
- The upcoming CLIA Cruise Week from September 15-21, with updates for agents emerging in the following months.
