Emirates launched its innovative Emirates Travel Store in Accra, enhancing customer service through advanced technology and expert consultations, making it the first of its kind in West Africa.

Emirates has unveiled its interactive and experiential Emirates Travel Store in Accra, Ghana. This innovative store enhances customer service by featuring exciting product showcases, smart technologies, and expert travel consultants. It marks the first travel retail store in West Africa and the 13th globally.

Located at Stanbic Heights in Airport City, the store was officially opened by Adil Al Ghaith, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, in the presence of Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Ghana’s Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, and Hon. Joseph Nikpe, Minister of Transport, along with distinguished trade and media guests.

“For over twenty years, Ghana has been a cornerstone of our African network, serving as a gateway to West Africa,” said Adil Al Ghaith. “The introduction of our refreshed retail strategy to Accra, demonstrates our ongoing commitment, bringing our ‘Fly Better’ promise to life.”

Enhancing the Travel Experience

The Emirates Travel Store combines personalized service with immersive brand experiences under one roof. With a spacious layout of 310 m², the store is designed like an elegant lounge adorned with the Ghaf Tree emblem on its walls.

The store features a full-size Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge experience, providing an insight into Emirates’ renowned offerings and enhancing the journey for travelers. Smart technologies, such as a ‘selfie mirror,’ enable customers to capture memorable moments against stunning backdrops. Self-service kiosks reduce wait times, while five counters staffed with expert consultants assist with travel planning, reservations, and inquiries, delivering Emirates’ signature hospitality.

Serving Ghana since 2004

Emirates has connected Ghana to global destinations for over two decades, facilitating the travel of more than 2 million passengers and operating a daily flight from Accra on a Boeing 777. This reinforces Emirates as a dedicated partner to Ghana’s aviation, tourism, and trade sectors.
