Air India Introduces Dedicated Family Assistance Check-in Counters at Delhi Airport
Air India has launched Family Assistance counters at Delhi Airport to support families traveling together.
As families prepare for summer vacations, Air India has rolled out dedicated ‘Family Assistance’ counters at Delhi Airport. This initiative aims to assist passengers traveling with family members, including children and elderly individuals, as well as those needing special assistance.
Currently, these counters offer a one-stop solution for passengers requiring support with various services such as baggage handling, seating arrangements, or wheelchair assistance.
Families traveling in groups will be welcomed at the ‘Family Assistance’ counter through a personal meet-and-assist approach. Passengers can request specific help, including last-minute wheelchair provisions for individuals with reduced mobility or the arrangement of seats close to each other, subject to availability.
This focused support not only streamlines the check-in process and helps ensure timely baggage handling but also lessens wait times and enhances the overall airport experience. Additionally, family members are provided with assistance regarding immigration and customs queries.
For children traveling alone and those who haven’t used the Unaccompanied Minor service, or for passengers requiring mobility support, guidance will be provided from the check-in counter to the designated boarding gate while completing all necessary formalities.
