Agoda, a global online travel agency, has renewed its partnership with the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism on May 12th. This agreement aims to enhance tourism in Indonesia by increasing both international and domestic visitor numbers.
The inauguration took place during Agoda Academy’s workshop in Bandung, focusing on digitalization in the tourism sector. The partnership aims to leverage Agoda’s technology to support Indonesia’s vision of Tourism 4.0, which encourages the use of digital technologies in tourism.
Chief Secretary Bayu Aji expressed excitement regarding this collaboration, stating: “We are delighted to expand our partnership with Agoda, as it strengthens Indonesia’s position as a sustainable tourism destination.”
