Avianca Introduces Two New Direct Routes from Florida to Central America
Avianca enhances travel options with new routes from Miami to Guatemala City and Fort Lauderdale to Managua.
With the recent launch of new routes connecting Miami to Guatemala City and Fort Lauderdale to Managua, Avianca is looking to enhance connectivity between South Florida and Central America. This initiative is designed to provide travelers with more convenient options for exploring the region.
Avianca announces new operations through these two routes aimed at improving travel links between the U.S. and Latin America. In 2024 alone, Avianca reported transporting over 4 million passengers to and from the U.S.
“The United States and Latin America are closely linked through tourism and business. With these new nonstop routes, we aim to strengthen these connections by expanding our network to over 40 direct routes between the U.S. and Latin America,” said Otto Gergye, Chief Commercial Officer at Avianca.
In addition to these routes, Avianca plans to introduce flights from Chicago to San Salvador, Dallas to Bogotá, and further connections from Bogotá to Córdoba, Argentina.
