It joins a list of seven institutions globally, including the Grand Palais in Paris and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

This award recognizes exceptional museums that showcase impressive architecture and meaningful visitor experiences. SAKA Museum, since its opening in 2024, has received acclaim as one of TIME Magazine’s World’s Greatest Places 2024 and a top entry in the Kyoto Global Design Awards.
