AirAsia has achieved a perfect score of 10 out of 10 in the first-ever comprehensive sustainability audit for the aviation industry by 42kft.com. Recognized as one of the top 25 carriers among 142 evaluated globally, AirAsia’s score showcases its commitment to sustainable aviation practices.
Conducted by specialists, the audit examined carriers across nine criteria, including fleet modernization, technology adoption, and transparency in sustainability reporting.

AirAsia also plays a role in shaping aviation policies, chairing Malaysia’s National Task Force on Carbon Offset and Reduction Scheme (CORSIA) and working with the International Civil Aviation Organization.
The announcement coincides with the release of AirAsia’s Sustainability Report for 2024, highlighting the airline’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact, with significant achievements such as:
