The iconic hotel recently signed with Accor firm Ennismore
Lifestyle hospitality company Ennismore continues its global growth by signing Melbourne Place, located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, to reimagine and relaunch it as Hyde Melbourne Place, marking the brand’s Australian debut.
The hotel will offer a unique experience, combining contemporary design with Melbourne’s rich cultural essence.
According to the newly appointed General Manager, Jodi Brown:

The property has already been acknowledged as one of Melbourne’s most exciting new locations, even earning a spot on the Condé Nast Traveller Hot List 2025.
A bold new look Hyde has expanded globally to cities like Miami, Dubai, London, and Johannesburg, and now brings its unique vision for lifestyle hospitality to Australia. Hyde Melbourne Place will feature an array of guest rooms and public areas reflective of Melbourne’s artistic and cultural vibrancy.
In addition to Hyde Melbourne Place, Ennismore is set to debut Hyde Perth, Mondrian Gold Coast, and 25hours Hotel Sydney The Olympia this year, all marking significant openings in Australia.
She’s in charge Jodi Brown’s vast experience, having spent over 14 years in hospitality across various Australian hotels and resorts—including a significant presence in Melbourne—will solidify Hyde’s commitment to excellence in its Australian debut.
