Air India to Launch Daily Flights to Tokyo Haneda Starting June 15, 2025

Air India is set to enhance its connectivity between Delhi and Tokyo Haneda by increasing flight frequency to daily operations.

Air India has recently announced an expansion of its non-stop service between Delhi and Tokyo Haneda, increasing its flights from four a week to daily service effective June 15, 2025. This move aims to boost travel convenience and support the growing commercial ties between India and Japan.

Previously, Air India shifted operations to Haneda Airport from Narita on March 31, 2025, cutting travel time to Tokyo Station to about 30 minutes. The flights will be conducted using Air India’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

Nipun Aggarwal, the Chief Commercial Officer of Air India, emphasized, “Expanding our Delhi-Tokyo Haneda service to daily flights reflects Air India’s commitment to meeting the rising demand for travel between India and Japan.” This service enhancement will facilitate easier travel to various destinations across Japan as well as domestic Indian routes.

Updated Flight Schedule:

  • AI358: Departs Delhi (DEL) at 2020 Hrs, arrives Tokyo Haneda (HND) at 0755 Hrs the next day (daily).
  • AI357: Departs Tokyo Haneda (HND) at 1150 Hrs, arrives Delhi (DEL) at 1725 Hrs (daily).
