Flyadeal Expands Its Flight Network to Turkey and Egypt

Flyadeal, Saudi Arabia's low-cost airline, is enhancing its services with new routes to Istanbul and Alexandria, strengthening connections with Egypt.

Flyadeal is broadening its regional network this summer to include Sabiha Gökçen International Airport in Istanbul and Alexandria, its fourth destination in Egypt. The airline plans to start daily flights from Riyadh to the Asian side of Istanbul on May 29, complementing existing routes from Riyadh and Jeddah to Istanbul’s main airport on the European side.

Starting June 2, Alexandria will receive flights four times a week from Jeddah. With Alexandria’s addition, Flyadeal increases its connection frequency between Saudi Arabia and Egypt to 69 weekly services, covering major cities such as Cairo and seasonal flights to Sharm El Sheikh.

Tickets for the new routes are available through Flyadeal’s mobile app, their website, and travel agents, promoting competitive fares every day.

These developments will be highlighted at the Arabian Travel Market, the region’s largest travel trade show, in Dubai.

Steven Greenway, Flyadeal’s CEO, stated: “Sabiha Gökçen in Istanbul is a significant addition to our network, reflecting our commitment to offer passengers more options to fly to different airports in the same city.”

He added that the expansion into Alexandria enhances the commercial and cultural connection between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, particularly with Jeddah serving as the gateway for Hajj and Umrah pilgrim travel. Greenway anticipates discussing these expansions at the Arabian Travel Market, underscoring the growth trajectory of Flyadeal since its launch in 2017.
