Star Voyager to make its Hong Kong debut in June
Asian cruise company StarCruises has revealed plans for the upcoming launch of the Star Voyager cruise ship in Hong Kong.
Sailing between June 27 and August 31, this event marks the return of the revitalized StarCruises brand to one of its key homeports, where it has operated cruises for over 30 years.
StarDream Cruises president Michael Goh stated:
“We are proud to return to Hong Kong, a city that holds a special place in StarCruises’ history and heritage. This homecoming is deeply meaningful, as it reconnects us with our roots and long-standing legacy in the region. We’re thrilled to introduce Star Voyager as a symbol of our renewed vision: offering exceptional regional cruise experiences for the domestic market and the growing Fly and Rail cruise segment.”
Boosting cruise tourism in the region
The debut of Star Voyager is expected to enhance cruise tourism in Hong Kong and the surrounding region, providing travelers with a fresh selection of voyage options while reaffirming StarCruises’ commitment to Asia’s vibrant cruise industry.
During her homeport season in Hong Kong, Star Voyager will feature a variety of immersive itineraries, including two-, three-, and five-night cruises to popular destinations such as Taipei, Kaohsiung, and Penghu in Taiwan, alongside trips to Naha and Ishigaki in Okinawa, Japan.
One highlight includes the return of the much-loved two-night Weekend High Seas Cruise, which departs every Friday, perfectly designed for guests seeking a delightful short getaway at sea.
