Delta Forms Collaboration with Uber to Accumulate SkyMiles

Delta Air Lines teams up with Uber, enabling travelers to earn SkyMiles through rides and Uber Eats orders.

Delta Air Lines has joined forces with Uber, allowing passengers to accumulate SkyMiles not just in the air, but also on the ground through Uber rides and food deliveries from Uber Eats.

New Mileage Earning Opportunities

The collaboration allows Delta SkyMiles members to link their accounts with Uber. As a result, every ride or Uber Eats order made will earn members miles effectively.

  • 3X miles for Uber Reserve rides, which can be scheduled up to 90 days in advance.
  • 2X miles for premium services, like Uber Comfort and Uber Black.
  • 1X mile for UberX rides, specifically to and from the airport.
  • Additionally, 1X mile for Uber Eats deliveries over $40 in the U.S.

In a recent statement, Prashant Sharma, Delta’s Vice President of Loyalty, remarked: “SkyMiles Membership is about giving Delta’s loyal customers more ways to earn even more miles, fly with more ease, and experience more of what really matters to them. Our new partnership with Uber not only expands the value of loyalty but also opens the door for new audiences to discover the benefits of SkyMiles, regardless of their travel frequency.”

This partnership was initially announced during the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show as a part of Delta’s broader initiative to modernize its services for the next century.
