As the world commemorates Earth Day, Virgin Voyages celebrates our home planet and its colossal seas through the release of its 2024 Impact Report along with additional details on its upcoming Celebration Voyages.

This year’s report focuses on the brand’s environmental and social initiatives, highlighting its progress on sustainability goals and ongoing commitment to responsible tourism. The report signifies the cruise line’s pledge to transparency and continuous improvement in its journey toward a sustainable future.

Three Brands Join the Celebration

With regard to the upcoming Celebration Voyages from Miami, Athens, and Lisbon, guests will enjoy products from three of Virgin Voyages’ beloved brand partners: Red Flower, Yellow Leaf Hammocks, and Intelligentsia Coffee. Brand representatives will present unique workshops and opportunities to engage with the founders.

Renowned for crafting Virgin Voyages’ bath amenities, Red Flower founder Yael Alkalay will lead workshops to celebrate Earth’s flora and fauna, featuring natural, biodegradable, and cruelty-free ingredients that exemplify the cruise line’s commitment to reducing plastic waste.

Time to Weave with Yellow Leaf Hammocks

Founders Joe Demin and Rachel Connors will present the ancient art of hammock weaving, providing sustainable employment for rural artisans from Thailand while celebrating thoughtful design and environmental stewardship.

Sustainable Brewing with Intelligentsia Coffee

Finally, Justin Lacher, from Intelligentsia Coffee, offers Sailors a chance to enhance their coffee knowledge with “Pour Overs with a View,” involving special-selection coffees and insights into exceptional cup-making.
