Major Overhaul Planned for Padma Hotel Bandung

Padma Hotel Bandung will undergo a significant transformation, temporarily closing to enhance guest experiences while maintaining its unique charm.

Major Overhaul Planned for Padma Hotel Bandung

Padma Hotel Bandung, located in the picturesque highlands of Ciumbuleuit, will temporarily shut down to embark on an ambitious transformation scheduled to take place after over 16 years of hospitality.

The iconic highland retreat will pause operations but aims to relaunch with an improved experience.

Nandang Suryana, the Corporate Director of Operations at Padma Hotels, emphasizes, “This is not merely a renovation; it is a reinvention. Padma Hotel Bandung has long been more than just a destination. It’s where memorable stories are created—a blend of morning mists and family gatherings by the pool. Our goal is to preserve the hotel’s essence while adapting every aspect to fit the evolving expectations of today’s travelers.”

What Will the Refurbishment Involve?

The renovations will include:

  • Expanding guest rooms and suites
  • Introducing new culinary offerings
  • Enhancing wellness and recreational facilities
  • Implementing architectural changes that harmonize contemporary designs with the surrounding nature.

Sustainability will be a guiding principle of this transformation, aligning with the uncompromised beauty of Ciumbuleuit.

Suryana adds, “This transformation reflects our broader commitment at Padma Hotels to present thoughtful luxury that honors the local culture and environment. Padma Hotel Bandung will emerge with a fresh identity and a renewed mission.”

Returning guests will find a familiar comfort, while newcomers can expect the unmatched hospitality for which the hotel is known—creating a home away from home.

Emotional Connection

Padma Hotels understands the profound emotional connections many guests have with this property. “We recognize the value this hotel holds for our guests, making this transformation critical. We are not just moving away; we are elevating our offering,” Suryana states.

During the closure, guests are encouraged to explore other Padma Hotels around Indonesia, including the serene shores of Padma Resort Legian and the tranquil ambiance of Padma Resort Ubud, ensuring the signature Padma experience remains accessible.
