Emirati flag carrier Emirates has announced a commitment to fully match any contributions made to the Emirates Airline Foundation dedicated to assisting children in need. The airline is amplifying its efforts to provide support to displaced or disadvantaged children, continuing its work with various community-based organizations and NGOs focused on child welfare over the past 20 years.

For every dollar, dirham, or any other currency donated to the Emirates Airline Foundation, the airline will match contributions up to $10,000, effectively doubling the impact of donations made by its customers.

Sir Tim Clark, the chair of the Emirates Airline Foundation, stated: “As global challenges intensify for the world’s most vulnerable people, safeguarding the fundamental needs of children and their access to food, health, housing, and education has never been more vital. This is why we are scaling up our support by matching every donation made to the Emirates Airline Foundation as part of our commitment to prioritizing the needs of children and helping to break the cycle of poverty. Every contribution made today is a stepping stone towards a fully nourished, educated, and empowered child.”

This initiative aligns with the UAE’s observance of the Year of Community in 2025, which aims to foster community impact and promote a shared responsibility for societal betterment.
