Air India Express has commenced operations from Manohar International Airport (GOX) in North Goa, enhancing connectivity to this vibrant region with new flight services.
Key Highlights:
- Flight Operations: From April 15, 2025, Air India Express connects North Goa with major cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, and Indore. Overall, the airline operates over 115 weekly flights from Goa, including 75 from Goa International Airport (GOI) and over 40 from GOX.
- New Routes: Daily flights are now available to Delhi and Bengaluru, with additional services to Indore and Chennai, making travel planning easier for passengers.
- International Flights: Starting May 3, 2025, Air India Express will also offer direct flights to Kuwait and Abu Dhabi.
To celebrate these new operations, a ceremonial event was held at the airport with notable attendees including Siddhartha Butalia, Shashi Chetia, and Anand Ramachandran. This expansion underscores the airline’s commitment to enhancing travel access to North Goa, which is famous for its beaches and cultural attractions.
