
IndiGo Opens New Headquarters in Gift City, Gandhinagar

InterGlobe Aviation Financial Services IFSC Private Limited (GCE), a fully owned subsidiary of India’s popular airline IndiGo, has relocated to a larger and updated office in GIFT City, Gandhinagar. This move signifies a notable achievement in the company’s efforts to broaden its financing activities, in light of its expansion in India’s burgeoning financial and business hub.
Office Role
The new GCE office in GIFT City will serve as a vital location for IndiGo to enhance its financing capabilities that underpin its operational growth, thereby offering an unparalleled travel experience to its clientele.

Pieter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo, remarked:

In attendance during the official opening were various members of the company’s senior management, including the CEO and CFO, along with representatives from international leasing companies who were welcomed to the new office.
Company Achievements
GCE acquired its captive finance company license from the International Financial Services Centre Authority (IFSCA) on June 26, 2024, and began operations on July 15, 2024. By March 31, 2025, GCE successfully financed over 30 Airbus A320neo family aircraft and has also arranged few ATR aircraft leases for IndiGo.
Future Outlook
Looking forward, GCE plans to finance the majority of aircraft for IndiGo.
