Launch of ArriveAntigua.com Promises Streamlined Travel Experience

Antigua and Barbuda introduces a new online system enhancing travelers' arrival and departure at V.C. Bird International Airport.

The Antigua and Barbuda Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation, and Investment, in cooperation with the Antigua Department of Immigration and the Antigua and Barbuda Customs and Excise Division, has launched ArriveAntigua.com, a modern system for arrivals and departures at V.C. Bird International Airport.

“We are committed to continuously improving the visitor experience in Antigua and Barbuda. The launch of ArriveAntigua.com is a major step in creating a smooth and seamless experience from the moment visitors arrive, allowing travellers to spend less time in the terminal and more time enjoying our 365 stunning beaches”, stated Charles Fernandez, Minister of Tourism.

The fully integrated electronic system boosts convenience and efficiency for visitors, greatly lessening time spent from gate arrival to sandy beaches.

Key Features of ArriveAntigua.com include:

  • Simple, Dynamic Interface: No app download required; travelers can quickly complete the online form using mobile or tablet devices.
  • Automatic Passport Scanning: Taking a photo of the passport allows the system to automatically populate personal details, simplifying the process.
  • Quick Questionnaire: Travelers answer a brief set of questions about their stay and customs declarations within 72 hours before their flight.
  • Effortless Arrival and Departure: Travelers receive a QR code that can be saved for quick access on their phones, expediting immigration processing for swift entry and exit.

Looking to the future, ArriveAntigua.com plans to include seaport arrivals and services for private jet passengers at Fixed Base Operators across Antigua and Barbuda.
